About cpd.so

What is cpd.so?: cpd.so is the Continuing Professional Development platform for Somalia. One ledger per professional, many providers, online or on-campus, a single record their regulator can trust.
Who is it for?: Anyone whose licence requires continuing-education hours — health professionals, academics, and other regulated fields — plus the course providers, employers, and regulators who serve them.
Is my certificate official?: Every certificate carries a public verify code. Anyone can confirm its authenticity at /verify/<code>. Whether your regulator accepts those hours is governed by that regulator's rules — cpd makes the record they need available to them.
How are courses accredited?: Providers submit courses with their proposed accredited hours and scheme mapping. cpd reviews each submission against a published rubric. Only approved courses appear in the catalogue, and the accredited-hours figure is locked at approval.

How do I prove my hours to my regulator?: Connect your regulator from a certificate page. Once bound, your completed CPD hours sync into your regulator's system on a regular cadence — no PDFs to email at renewal time.
Can I see all my hours in one place?: Yes — your dashboard shows every accredited hour you've earned, with progress against your regulator's scheme.
What payment methods are supported?: WaafiPay and eDahab for Somali users. More rails as we add them.

I run training — how do I list a course?: Apply at /become-a-provider. We'll review your organisation, then you can build courses (online or on-campus). Every course is reviewed and accredited before it ships.
How does revenue split work?: cpd collects fees through the platform, retains a fee disclosed at provider approval, and remits the remainder to you on a regular cadence. The split is shown on your provider dashboard.

Can I sponsor a team?: Yes. Buy a bundle, invite colleagues by email, and track utilisation — see /become-a-sponsor.

I'm a regulator — how do I integrate?: See /for-regulators for the integration shapes (push API or read-only dashboard) and contact us at info@cpd.so.

Where is my data stored?: Account and CPD data live in Supabase (Postgres + Storage, region eu-west-1). The full picture is on the privacy page.
How do I delete my account?: Use the Delete account section at the bottom of /profile, or write to info@cpd.so.
